Charity Raffle Added To The Next Two Meetups

Recently, I was approached by a rep from MDA to participate in their Lock-Up fundraiser. I’ve been approached before and have been interested, but never had time to actually do it.

This time I said, “what the heck” and decided to go for it. My lock up date is September 26th.

But, I decided to make things interesting….

Why not add in a raffle and donate the raffle earnings to my “bail”?

So, that’s what I’m going to do. At the Elsa’s meetup on the 21st and the Heather’s meetup in September, I will be raffling off two free passes to my Mr. Leads Power Networking Workshop (separate drawings). I’ve also reached out to other business people who will also be adding items to the raffle as well.

I have two different ways you can buy a raffle ticket. One way is by making an online donation on my fundraising page which you can access by clicking here.

Additionally, I’ll be accepting cash raffle entries at the meetup.

Raffle tickets are just $5 each. Pretty good deal, wouldn’t you say? $5 to potentially win a $150 ticket that will help you substantially grow your business and help out MDA in the process. What a deal!

For the online entries, please make your donation public by checking the “make public” box when you check out online, so I’ll know how many raffle tickets to issue you at the meetup.

If you are a winner of the raffle, you can attend the workshop the next day, August 22nd from 2-5 pm at Indiana Wesleyan. Or if you want to wait, I also recently added workshops on September 25th and October 24th. Both are also 2-5 p.m. at Indiana Wesleyan. The ticket sale website, event description and testimonials are at www.MrLeadsLive.com.

You will need to be present to win, so I look forward to seeing you at the meetup and good luck to you!

Partnership is “Dream Come True” for Montgomery County Seniors

Allen Nelson of Next Steps Senior Transitions has joined forces with The Senior Dream Center of Springfield, OH to help fulfill dreams of Montgomery County seniors. The Senior Dream center is a non-profit organization based in Clark County whose mission is “to honor senior citizens by helping them fulfill their dreams.” Next Steps Senior Transitions is a Centerville business serving seniors who are in the process of downsizing or moving to a retirement community by managing the many details involved in moving. After learning of the Senior Dream Center, Nelson knew that he and his company were a perfect match. “As soon as I heard about the great things they were doing for seniors in Springfield, I knew I wanted to make a way to offer that to Dayton-area seniors as well,” says Nelson.

Dreams may be submitted for approval through the Senior Dream Center’s website in one of 5 categories: Life-long Dream, like flying in a WWII airplane; Fun-filled Dream such as a makeover and dinner at a special restaurant; Memory Dream like being reunited with a childhood friend; One Last Time Dream such as visiting the family farm one last time and Needs-based Dream like getting a walker with a seat on it to make certain activities more accessible. Requests for Montgomery County Senior Dreams will be handled by Mr. Nelson and his staff. “It’s a real honor for us to be connected with this organization,” says Nelson. “The joy and happiness that comes with the fulfillment of long-cherished dreams is priceless to the seniors. I have to say though, being a part of making those dreams come true is pretty amazing too.” http://www.nextstepstransitions.com/seniordreamcenter.cfm
